A stretch of the  Palisades Interstate Parkway has reopened after a downed tree caused its closure.

The closure occurred southbound at Exit 17 (Anthony Wayne Recreation Area)  in Highlands around 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 before reopening later in the hour.
